It is unacceptable that the decision to grant state employees leave with pay due to weather-related absence beyond their control has not been enacted by the governor. I realize Gov. Haley has had much on her plate in the wake of one of the worst natural disasters in our state's history, but to leave this decision hanging over the heads of thousands of state employees is unconscionable. Please do not allow this process to drag out for another week.
