I first contacted you about this problem in March. The problem is speeding!!!! Several of us who live in this neighborhood are tired of people speeding up and down the street. We have contacted DOT several times, along with Highway Patrol and Anderson Sheriffs office. DOT has put 2 speed limit signs up and it hasn't made any difference. A lot of us are afraid to get our mail for fear of being hit. DOT has advised us that speed bumps are not an option because the road is only 17 feet wide. We would like to know why. Optimally three speed bumps are needed, 2 on Sleepy Hollow Rd and one on Carson Creek Rd. As people who are just trying to live here and stay alive while getting our mail, walking, jogging and playing with out kids and dogs, we would appreciate this matter be handled. We are sick and tired of it and may take matters into our own hands if not rectified shortly.
