Please join other states in putting a temporary hold on accepting immigrants from Syria and other Islamic countries.  At present, the Federal government is incapable of identifying individuals from ISIS and other terrorist organizations.  Accepting potential and likely terrorists from the Middle East and other Islamic areas poses a grave threat to American safety.  For personal background, I  
have recently retired as an engineer with IBM, and relocated to Clover, SC from Fairfax, Virginia.  I have lived and worked in Iran and Saudi Arabia for more than six years.  My experience is that most adherents to Islam are peaceful and not a threat.  But a good percentage are a threat and must be stopped from immigrating to the US.  Obama is incompetent and his pro-Islamic sympathies must be countered at every level.  Please contact me for further details.  And I do vote in every election.  Thank you.
