Good morning - I hope you are doing well. First, I believe overall you are doing a pretty good job as our Governor; you dealt with the flooding that ravaged our great state expeditiously and most likely did the right thing by lowering "the flag" after the massacre downtown. Surely the flag had historical value but did represent, presently, white supremacy or some derivative of that. However and respectfully, you should refrain from using your soapbox for diminishing Trump in any way, as it will only lead to lowering your popularity. As a physician, Trump speaks for me and all the anger I feel towards the Washington status quo. Trump's policy on immigration is the right policy for the times as it disuades any illegal immigration or any religious group that is largely associated with terrorism - at least large enough to potentially murder or harm any of my loved ones. As a native Charlestonian and a supporter of you, I ask you to refrain from barating Trump - it is below you and you are not running for the highest office in the country. He has supported you with campaign contributions and that is the way you repay him? Why do you have a dog in the fight? You are doing well but please do not assume you have persuasion power over your constituents with respect to Trump. As a registered Republican I WILL be voting for Trump for POTUS if he wins the primary -  he may not be the most polished candidate but the world is a scary place now.
