hello.. first i would like to thank you for the wonderful job you have done and continue to do here in our wonderful state.  i would also like to thank you for your appearance at jacobs funeral here in the upstate, it means alot to us here who sometimes in these small towns feel as if we are just not seen.
now for my reason for the email:
my son is in the national guard.  for me to learn that he was pulled away from his fulltime job with his normal pay to making only $60 a day to work in the low state with the hurricane is very discouraging.  these men still have homes to support, bills to pay. duke power, or city utilities is not going to care that he was fight the hurricane.  thank god it was not as bad as predicted. i realize that im one person, this email will never make a difference, and Gov. Haley probably will never even read it. i think we need to treat these men, these men who would risk their life for any stranger, who would more that likely do it for free, i think these men need to be treated better.  that goes for all military.  
thank you again for your service to our state.
