There needs to be a quick vetting for out of state contractors to be able to get to work helping those who need it. In our neighborhood some guys from Minnesota, who are licensed there, were a godsend but they can't stay because they can't get enough business because people are afraid to use them. Our state doesn't have the resources to handle this and there needs to be a way to get out of state disaster professionals to work quickly. I know we need to be cautious and protect people but there are licensed people in the Midlands who are not honest and also gouge people in time of crisis.
