My concern is about Deputy Ben Fields and other police persons that follow in his category. I would like to know, how is it a man of his status still working on the police force with his reputation of assault on citizens of SC. I don't believe it's because you are not aware of it, there are to many videos on Faceboook and to many tweets on Twitter, people testifying 3 yrs back being assaulted by him (Mr. Fields). How can people feel safe when people such as Ben Fields is getting away with what people are fighting to stop. The latest video posted on yesterday, shows him assaulting a female. No sounds, but viewing the video the others were sacred and protocol wasn't followed. My question to you is, "what kind of disciplinary action is going to be taken?" I'm not viewing this as an racist act, but a lot of other people are. I'm viewing it as protocol not being follow properly. I use to teach school dealing with children with disciplinary problems and I know this could have taken other measures. I'm also a military veteran, who have been station with Military Police and familiar with protocol. I agree, I don't know the situation, but viewing the video I do know the deputy was wrong on how he handled the situation.
