Trying to contact Mrs. Alford DSS regarding an ongoing situation with Chas Cty DSS. My husband and I recently gained custody of a brother &amp sister who was receiving a subsidy from NY.  Family Svces and DSS claim to be working on getting the subsidy reversed to be sent to us so that we can provide for the children. Supposedly the stipend was discontinued when the children were placed in DSS custody. We weren't fully informed of what we were getting involved in and now that the children have been placed, it appears as though DSS has said thanks and bye.  I've contacted Ms. Mills from the Constituent Board and have gotten no where.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
