I was needing some information on who I would contact about having a law changed or amended. It is the law for how a husband is considered next of kin instead of the children. My mother passed and my step dad got to have complete control over everything dealing with the funeral home. My brother and I aren't going to get any of my mothers ashes because of this. It is strange to me that my mother had us and we have no right to anything. If you could please give me any information on who I would start talking to. Im very passionate about this as I am sure this has affected many families. Thank you for taking time to read this. Thank you. Have a great day
