I am currently working on a National History Day Project with the topic of the history and taking down of the Confederate Flag. I was wondering if you could answer the questions I have for you in this letter? Thank you so much for your time and all that you do for this great state. With that said, here are the Questions: 1.) How do you feel about the taking down of the Confederate Flag? 2.) Do you think the flag that was just taken down is racist? 3.) Is your heritage involved with the Confederate Flag? If So, How and how do you feel about the involvement? 4.) What are your personal opinions on what the Confederate Flag means, and why? 5.) How did you feel when you signed the document on July 9th to take down the Confederate flag, and why? 6.)What was your original opinion about the flag, and why? 7.) Finally, Do recommend anyone else that I could interview for my project? Once again, thank you so much for your time, work and answers. I'll be visiting the state house soon with my family and I'm looking forward to it! Sincerely, Patrick Priore North Myrtle Beach Middle School
