As the wife of a DSS worker, I am asking you to encourage the State Legislature to uphold the emergency measure of raised wages for DSS workers. There is "rumor" that the legislation to maintain the raises given to workers at the end of 2014 is not going to pass. Just as a small example of how this will affect workers &amp their families: We are a family of 5 &amp are attempting to move out of our 2 bedroom town home &amp purchase a small 3 bedroom house. We are depending on the increase. Please ask legislators to consider the lives of workers &amp their families who are not living extravagantly, but rather who give up much to serve abused &amp neglected children in our state.
