Johnson 100 Sandhill Path Summerville SC 29483 johnsondomi@hotmail.ciom GOVE GITMO prisoners at Charleston Naval Brig 98.25.72.189 Governor Haley, I am a contractor working at SPAWAR Systems Command approximately 600 yards from the Naval Brig in Charleston/Hanahan (South Annex.) Before President Obama moves the GITMO terrorists to Charleston, I suggest you inform him, that if he proceeds, you will have no choice but to direct the South Carolina State Police to stop and identify all drivers entering the base and search their vehicles, especially Gate 3 on Remount Road, nearest the brig. This would be to insure the safety of all South Carolina citizens, as our borders are insecure and we have had numerous terrorist attacks and plots. I'm sure you are aware that the adjacent Charleston Naval Weapons Station stores millions of tons of munitions and is home to the Navy's nuclear propulsion training center, both of which could be targets of terrorist. The above action would result in grid lock (for hours and miles) on Remount Road, I-526, I-26, River's Avenue, and Ashley Phosphate preventing people getting to work on time at the base and elsewhere. There are dozens if not scores of heavy trucks entering Gate 3 daily which already back up morning traffic at times. But perhaps the threat of a partial base shutdown, along with the national headlines, will deter the present administration from their foolish plan of political appeasement. I admire all you and your staff have and are doing to make South Carolina safe and prosperous. Hopefully, common sense will prevail. Respectfully yours, Dorian (Mike) Johnson
