As one of your voters, I am asking you to fight to keep the Confederate Battle Flag on state grounds. That flag is part of my heritage as a Southerner, South Carolinian, and descendant of Confederate Patriots. A vote to take the flag down will let the race baiters win, and the flag is not about race. There were many black soldiers fighting for the South for their beliefs of their own volition. If we buckle to every demand of haters, where will this all end? The compromise was made, and both sides should abide by it. That flag located on the state grounds did not shoot anyone. That is not the only Confederate flag that exists, and hiding it will not stop
