I voted for you and would do so again. With that being said, I do have a complaint about our state's litter problem. I travel worldwide. I have been to many parts of Europe, Asia, most of the Caribbean, and across our great nation. I must admit, other than parts of Mexico, Jamaica and some of our nation's states such as Alabama and Mississippi, our state has the most litter. I am ashamed of what our streets, highways and interstates have to offer to its citizens and visitors. I hate litter of all sorts. People who throw their trash out should be ashamed and if caught should be fined. Emptying ashtrays on our streets while waiting for a light to change happens more than one can imagine. Politicians using our roads for their campaign signs needs to stop. When the county sends out road workers to mow, they should show enough pride to clean up the paper before mowing over it. Now that we are in the "fireworks" season I must say that I do not like the litter this product adds to our neighborhoods. Our beaches DO NOT ALLOW fireworks, it is a law, but this law is not enforced and people continue to litter our beaches with fireworks. Please help our state to make changes and renew its pride. We are a beautiful state and it is not fair to have it disrespected and neglected. I was born and raised here and I like it when people have nice things to say about SC, but if I were driving through our state without having an appreciation for its roots, I would not want to live here when seeing the ugly litter. It does not represent who we are. It makes us look like we have no pride or love for our state. PLEASE HELP.
