SCHC Annual Meeting & Expo to Feature Parelli “Savvy Seminar”
(COLUMBIA)–Pat Parelli, world-famous clinician of natural horse savvy methods, will be the keynote speaker at the SC Horsemen’s Council (SCHC) Annual Meeting and Expo. Gates open for the event at 8 AM, Saturday, March 18, at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia.
The morning session is free and open to both Horsemen's Council members and nonmembers. Parelli will open the meeting with the keynote speech at 9 AM. Ken Smith of Hopkins, the only South Carolinian to ever hold the office of President of the American Quarter Horse Association, the largest breed association in the world, will follow Parelli. And, the Council will elect officers and give out awards and two scholarships. Throughout the day, there will be a huge trade show at the fairgrounds and concessions.
At 1 PM, Parelli will present a "Savvy Seminar" and demonstration to show others how to connect with horses. Parelli, known worldwide for his natural horse savvy, which he calls Natural Horse*Man*Ship, has given thousands of courses, clinics and demonstrations around the world. In the past 18 years, he has shown people how the natural approach to horses can be amazingly effective. Parelli has developed an easy-to-follow teaching system to show others how to use his method, which he'll demonstrate to the audience at the expo. Parelli says that people need savvy to be good with horses, and that savvy helps people solve problems, banish frustrations, and become more creative in their approach to teaching horses. He and his wife Linda will give step-by-step instructions on how to connect with your horse and make the training process seem simple.
