I am a social worker in the healthcare field and I am very concerned about the most vulnerable population in our state, the poor. I was so disappointed when I heard that SC would not accept millions of federal dollars to expand Medicaid in the state, which would allow our poorest citizens to have access to healthcare and could save their lives. I have the utmost respect for Governor Haley and the work that she has done for SC and I just wish that the lawmakers in Columbia would revist and reconsider this very important issue. If you would like to discuss this further I would be more than happy to talk or meet with you. I just really want to understand why we are not accepting the money that is now going to other states. Thank you again for your time.
