I was astounded when I heard that you vetoed this bill. I still cannot understand why you decided to veto this bill. It would have spent a little bit of SC monies and we would have received matching funds from the federal government -- all going to infrastructure improvements in the SC aviation system. I do not understand the pattern of obstructing badly needed infrastructure improvements to our roads and airports -- both of which are vehicles for investment into our state. You do not have to address your views on the SC roads. You have previously responded to me on this issue. I appreciated the response, but I still do not agree with you position. Please tell me why the Aviation Fund Bill was vetoed. I am an officer in an aviation organization in SC and want to tell my members what is going on.
