Dear Governor Haley,
We are certified educators, long-time residents, and former-students of Clarendon School District Three. This school is not only one of the highest performing school districts in the state, it is the heartbeat of this community. Being one of the largest employers, the foresight of closure could be detrimental to such an excellent community. We pay high taxes, support local businesses and find ways to help this district in every way we know how. It is an injustice that we do all we can and the district is always at a financial shortfall and does not receive equal finances from a state and county governments. Please consider finding ways to help these students and teachers continue to be a part of this outstanding district by finding financial resources to keep this district open and viable. Equality is the key here and that is what is deserved. Thank you for your time and consideration.
