Glassy Mt. Rd., Greenville County). They didn't make any attempt to clear these off the road, and as I tried to avoid them the best way I could, one of them pierced the side of my tire completely ruining it. I took a photo of this and showed it to one of the supervisors Randy who was on our road. I replaced this tire with a used one for only $25 as mine was used. I thought this to be fair. I presented my case damage claim #16-18354 to the DOT. This was denied by Amanda Tuberville Taylor Asst. Chief counsel 803-737-1260. I am an ordained minister and would not distort the truth in any way. I believe this to be a travesty of justice by the DOT. I did not take legal action, but only wanted my used tire replaced! It seems with all the monies DOT has wasted, that $25 would not be a major expenditure. Is there anything your office can do? Thank you. By the way I believe this machine needs replacing as it leaves dangerous road conditions.
