| (Orangeburg-AP) -- Connecticut Senator Joe
Lieberman will be in Orangeburg and Columbia today. The Democratic
presidential candidate is speaking to a women's missionary group at
the South Carolina African Methodist Episcopal Central Conference in
Orangeburg this morning. He'll talk about making college
affordable this afternoon at Benedict College in Columbia. Lieberman pledged to fight violent video games in a campaign stop in Greenville on Sunday. Lieberman visited Springfield Baptist Church and said he supports rating systems for television programs and video games to give parents more information. He says one game, "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City," rewards players for attacking, beating and killing women. |
