Greene St Cheraw SC 29520 eebrunson@hotmail.com 843 320 0033 IMMI Refugees 108.84.53.243 Dear Governor Haley, First, let me say how proud I am that you took a stand against bringing Gitmo prisoners to our state. Secondly, I must express my disappointment and fear about the refugees being allowed to come to South Carolina. I have been following stories about them for quite some time and feel that economically, socially, and culturally it would be tremendously detrimental for us. Our culture and our state is unique and should remain so. Moreover, the possibility of risking one terrorist among them is much too great, especially after witnessing the recent terrorist attacks in France. Please, do not allow them into our state. I think creating a safe zone for them in their homeland and providing aide is a much better solution--and certainly more economical--for them and for us. We are living in a fearful and uncertain time and desperately need a Republican president who can lead us back on the right path. In the meantime, the focus must be on protection of our homeland and our great state, not on integrating refugees of questionable origin. My sincere thanks for your time, Ms. Esther Brunson
