Cobb MSW 106 Turtle Bay Ct Summerville SC 29483 jcobb19@sc.rr.com 843 771 2851 In Dorchester County ,the state Mental Health Agency is Dorchester Community Mental Health. As a state agency one would expect reasonable rate and a sliding scale. Instead the rate is $219.00 for a visit. This in a "right to work" state with a minimum hourly rate of $7.50. At the Dorchester Drug and Alcohol Agency it is $110. to $150. for group treatment and folks are expected to come four times a week before they decrease the number of times to attend. This was not President Kennedy's vision of Community Mental Health Centers. These over the top charges only add to the stressors that people in recovery already have, leaving them with bills they will not be able to pay. As Governor this is a matter that should be looked into for the people of this state. 98.122.82.77
