Governor Haley,
Boy Scout Troop 213 is proud to announce the
promotion of Joshua Perri to the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the 18th young
man to earn the rank of Eagle from our troop!
Josh has been an
active Boy Scout since he was 10 years old, diligently working on all the
requirements to ultimately attain the rank of Eagle Scout including
earning a minimum of 21 merit badges, countless community service hours,
and many nights camping! His hard work culminated with a community service
project at Church of the Cross School in Bluffton, South Carolina. Josh
organized a team of volunteers to build a picnic area so that the children
can enjoy some extra time in the outdoors.
Josh has not only been a
testament to the Scout Oath, he has been active in his church and in his
community. He will graduate from Bluffton High School this June near the
top of his class.
Because of his hard work and dedication, I am
inquiring as to the possibility of a letter of commendation from your
office. If you so desire, the letter should be addressed to:

for presentation at his Eagle Court of Honor on May 28, 2016.
