Dear Nikki Haley,
During the last week of november my oldest child Isabell Collins expressed to my fiance that she had been touched in her private area by a little boy (Austin Hiott) numerous times while in her mothers care at the Walterboro's womans shelter Safe Haven . The next morning  I took Isabell to the Colleton County Sheriff's Department where we spoke with a victims advocate I openly informed them that my father  Steve Collins was placed on the Sex offenders Registry waafter taking an Alford pled from over 25 years ago I also informed them that  my children  where never left unattended with him ...my mother sister or I was alway present  nor do we live with him now. Colleton county victim's advocate Denise Pickney and detective Theron Grant then set up a Forensic Interview at Hope Haven in Beaufort and requested Isabell be there as well as her little sister Abigail and the biological mother Robynn Ellet.I was told during the interview my youngest daughter Abigail Collins expressed that her grandfather (Steve Collins) touched her private area with a back scratcher , Detective  Theron grant then stripped the girls from me in Ridgeland County and requested I follow them back to Colleton County Sheriff's Department  in which I did  and I have video of him speeding with my children in his vehicle with no booster/ child safety seats . When we arrived back in colleton County  detective Theron Grant  pulled the mother and I into the back and explained to us what the alligations  were and told us that the girls were going to be placed in child protective custody in which I expressed that my fiance's sister  (Samantha Shaw) was willing to be reinstated as a foster parent to prevent the girls from going into the state and she was also willing to take the proper steps under DSS regulations to make sure both girls were safe , Detective Theron Grant said he was fine with that and in that time Latarsha Saunders called Samantha Shaw in which Mrs. Latarsha Saunders stated to samantha "you know you won't get paid for this right?" Samantha expressed that she was fine with that and she was only concerned with the saftey of the girls.Officer Craig Stivendger who had no afilliation with the case then stepped in and stopped the girls from going to Samantha Shaw stated he did not want them with a family member . The girls were the taken into Protective Custody and placed with a foster parent. We were then scheduled court date that would take place in 48 hours ....we immediately hired a local Attorney  who seems to be a part of the good ol boy system . At the first hearing it was  requested the girls go to their Aunt Monica Adams so they did not have to be in the system during christmas ,Detective Theron Grant & DSS were against that but thankfully the judge ruled in our favor. During the next couple of days Steve Collins (grandfather) ran but on jan. 8th turned himself in and is currently being held in Colleton County Detention Center.  We have complyed with the  DSS  treatment plan and  I have cut ties with my father and also offered to have restraining orders put in place  up until Three weeks ago everything was going fine the girls were in their aunt's care and we had supervised visitation at her home. But then the girls were taken from the Aunt and placed back in Protective Custody with new alligations that I tickled both my daughters private areas with a back scratcher , but it is believed by DSS that both girls were coached and I will submit to a lie detector test to prove my innocence. My fiance and I are now taking parenting classes ordered by DSS in which our parenting teacher stated that none of his curriculum applies to her or I , we are also now back on visitation at DSS every two weeks.We had a visit last Tuesday in which both girls looked poorly taken care of  they have also been spotted in public places by friends and family who have also stated they look rough ......I believe a cover up is going on I have yet to see the evidence  the girls are the ones suffering I believe there is no reason they should not be home with my fiance and I  we have done everything they have asked of us.....I was also told not to contact you and rattle cages because they would make it longer for me to have my kids home with me  ...I believe terrible injustice is being done innocent children are suffing and somebody needs to do something... you are my first attempt to get help I do not want to cause an uproar I just want my children home  ......there is plenty more to discuss  if you can help me I would like my attempt for justice to end with you so I do not have to take it any further  ...we can even come to your office to disscuss this ...please contact me Dean  at (843)542-5605 or my Fiance Shelbee at (843)259-5924.....hope to hear from you and thank you !!
