Your office called us finally on the last email about a graduating line for my nephew. I have his educational guardianship. We were referred to Wanda Davis, but kept getting blocked from talking to her. People kept passing us off to others. No one will even present Zach his diploma after all the years in the public school system. Only the last 4 months with PHEA. Greenville County Board of Trustees had me scan his diploma and said it is not valid. No seal or signature from them. It will help with further education or a job. I called them. They emailed back and said it would that they just type letters. I have been face to face, emailed our local representatives, calls, etc. This is an election time and a great photo opportunity for all these kids that have Autism. I am tired, worn out, and tired of being passed around like I am stupid. All I am asking is for someone so this kid will stop crying and not being so depressed to hand him his diploma. He has a cap, gown, and tassel. Please, please get back to me Governor Haley and do not let someone pass the buck again. I know he means nothing to these other people, but I know it means a lot to him. All I get to hear is how petty, small-minded, immature, and childish but nobody does anything except hand it off to someone else. Nobody will even call his Autism caseworker back or DDSN. A lot of avoiding taking place instead of doing something so simple that would mean a lot to him. We have heard a lot of these kids go through this (know some personally). Please answer and help. Lisa Russell, umum@charter.net or (864)905-6517 P.S. I called your office today and got passed off and told to call Lois Mole at DDSN. I had to leave a message. This goes on a lot.
