Mrs Haley,
 I hope you're enjoying your week so far. My name is Phenicia Willis, I am a single mother of a special need child and I have a problem that I truly need help with. I have an expired out of state drivers license and am having trouble getting a new one. My last name on my birth certificate does not match the last name on my social security card and I have no proof to show why. My last name was never legally changed so the paperwork for the name change does not exists. My mother simply changed the last name on my ss card  in 1981 and proceeded to enroll me and school and I have used the name ever since. 
I can't work or find a place to live until I have proper identification and I am in need of help to find out which direction I should go. I have tried a legally change my name but do not have Valid ID and can not. I have dealt with the social security office and dmv but neither can help me without valid ID. 
Please let me know what other options I have.  Thank you
