Good morning Nicole,

Thank you for your reply back to our Mid-Winter Ball Chair, Megha Lal, below regarding our upcoming 2015 Mid-Winter Ball, A Passage to India.  We certainly understand that Governor Haley has a full schedule and cannot attend the event.  We would however like her presence felt in some way.  Might she entertain doing a short video message (30 seconds or so) we could play during our event or simply write a letter of support we could display?  We appreciate consideration of this request but also respect if neither can be done.

Dear Megha,

Thank you for extending an invitation to Governor Haley to be the guest of honor at Self Regional Healthcare Foundation’s signature charity event on Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Greenwood, S.C. Governor Haley appreciates your kind consideration in thinking of her for to attend the 27^th annual Mid-Winter Ball, but regrettably Governor Haley’s schedule will not permit for her to attend on that date due to a scheduling conflict that weekend. It sounds like you have a wonderful theme planned for the event, and Governor Haley certainly would have enjoyed the Indian atmosphere.
