Hampton County’s Lake Warren pier to be rebuilt by state DNR
Lake George Warren was purchased by the S.C. Wildlife and Marine Resources Department (now S.C. Department of Natural Resources) in 1967. A pier originally built in 1984, which has been partially closed, is scheduled to undergo reconstruction beginning the week of Nov. 6. Pictured are some of the structural problems on the pier.
