Mr Godfrey,
I am inquiring if there is any information or action with a domestic violence case. I contacted Mr. Cogdill when I was trying to find someone that might help my friend. I can share the basics as she knows the details better, I am just following up in hope because so far even with the police ect, she and now her son are in danger but nothing is being done. Her ex-husband of 2013 assaulted her this year, grabbing her neck, causing a stroke. They have a young son. She sent me well wishes for my birthday and then told me he dislocated his shoulder and despite DSS involvement, her ex still has his visitation rights. She does not have $ for an attorney and her ex has a well paid one. I dont know Sir exactly what I am asking for...hope for one and anything or anyone else she can contact that may be of value to her situation. I do not want to see their deaths on the news like so many others. My signiture was on the passing of our recent bill for offenders. This man has a loop-hole we have to find. Thank you so much.
