Bohrn Jr. 1001 Forest Hill Dr. Frankfort KY 40601 mtavern1862@yahoo.com 502-395-2684 LETT Order of the Crescent Governor Haley, Congratulations on being re-elected Governor of our great Palmetto State! Many months ago, Rep. Peter McCoy from District 115, submitted a request for myself, Robert E. Bohrn, to be considered for the "Order of the Crescent" for my contributions to our fare State. My endeavors on behalf of the African-Americans Soldiers from our State and across our Country during the Civil War. I have spent over forty years of my life, dedicated to making sure that how the role of the African-American Soldier, played a integral part, in fighting for and forming our Country. Their place in History should never to be forgotten. And my participation in my passion for their history, shall never wane. With February (being Black History Month,) just a month away, I would think that it would be a positive message for the African-Americans of our fare State, as well as our Country as a whole. South Carolina can be a State, that recognizes the contributions made in the history of our State and Country. And of course, the ultimate sacrifice's made by the nineteen Union African-American soldiers, whose remains I discovered on Folly Beach S.C. With race relations being as they are in these turbulent times, my contributions have shown that we, as a people of diverse cultures and races, can and do positive works for the benefit of us all. Enclosed are two videos, which show some of my achievements on their behalf; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7xKHTb-vho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIwlWBLSSfw Thank You for your time, and consideration.
