When your main responsibility to the citizens of the state is to protect and then allowing the influx of potential terrorists is inexcusable. If you want the vote of conservative's I would urge you to issue a declarative statement that under no circumstances will you allow the resettlement of ANY refugee until such time as each and every one is completely and thoroughly vetted. Assuming you can get a honest answer from the federal government that may make the wait time at least several years. That is really not that bad when I have friends who have been legally waiting 8-10 years to get permission to enter the USA. Do the right thing and protect the interests of all South Carolinians.
