Governor Haley,

   May name is Stan Cothran a retired CW5 in the US Army(ask Michael what that is) and my wife, Brenda is a retired school teacher.  We both have been staunch supporters of yours on every issue that confronted you.  We have met you before, spoken with you, had our picture made with you and obtained your autograph which we cherished.  We had he picture framed and proudly displayed in our home.  However, with your statement about removing the Confederate Flag from the State House grounds you have started a division within our state and other states especially when Obama comes right behind you and mirrors your remarks. I have already spoken with Mike Pitts and won his support and will contact Danny Verdin tomorrow.  Regretfully, we are extremely disappointed in your stance in this matter.  I spent 44 years, 4 months and 15 days supporting the American flat and had three ancestors killed while fighting for states rights, not slavery while wearing the Confederate Uniform.  None of them owned slaves.
