My son was written up in school and suspended several times all because of symptoms of his disability. He was sent to the courts several times , Family Court in Horry County due to the school suspensions and has just been sent away for 45 days in a lockdown facility that does not understand does nor know about Tourette's symptoms. How is he supposed to be evaluated in environment where none of the administrative staff or security guards or social worker is aware of the impact Tourette syndrome has on a child. I feel that my son, primarily his safety, is my number one major concern at this moment. He is not safe in this facility. Please help him. He is not safe.
