My purpose for reaching out is the over spending of the EBT/Food Stamp Program. While I believe this is much needed to help families, there is also a need to restrict certain items in this program. Candy bars, sodas ect. are not essential to our nutrient requirements and should not be paid for in this program. EBT/Food Stamps should adopt what is "Needed, not Wanted" such as the limitations provided in the "WIC" program. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
