FAMILY LIVING STAGE OFFERS POTPOURRI OF USEFUL INFORMATION

MOULTRIE, GA---A perennial crowd-pleaser at the Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition is the Family Living Building.

Inside one finds innovative and creative static exhibits as well as live demonstrations every hour from 10 am to 2 pm during the Expo, October 16-18, 2001.

 “I’m really excited about this year’s demonstrations,” said Gina McDonald, Director of Marketing for the Sunbelt Expo.  “We’ve tried to bring together participants that are not only entertaining, but also provide information that visitors can take home and use.”

Want to put dinner on the table fast?  Krysta Nibe of the Georgia Beef Board will show the latest in convenience beef products at 10 am on the Family Living stage.  Mark McLean of Medicine Man follows at 11 am with the latest news on vitamins and nutritional products.

At noon, Ladonna Peterson of J&L Growers will present easy landscape ideas and answer audience questions. How to accessorize the ‘Little Black Dress” is the topic of the 1 pm demonstration by Anne Carlton of Turner’s Ladies Fine Clothier.

Cathy Morris D’Amico, RN, in cooperation with Colquitt Regional Medical Center, will discuss weight control at 2 pm.  D’Amico is an instructor for the “Waist Makers” program.

Also, do not miss the exhibits surrounding the Family Living stage which encompass all aspects, from utilitarian to decorative, of today’s lifestyle.

The Sunbelt Expo show hours are from 8:30 am to 5 pm Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 8:30 am to 4 pm on Thursday. The three-day show will be held at Spence Field; four miles southeast of US Hwy 319 on Highway 133 near Moultrie, GA. Admission is $5 per day, per person. Children under 6 are admitted free with a parent.
