Unit 203 Myrtle Beach SC 29579 dfrench7000@yahoo.com 843 340 9971 ECON Gasoline Prices in Myrtle Beach, SC 70.193.50.192 This question may seem trivial, but the answer is important to me and many here in Myrtle Beach. My husband's family lives in MA where gas taxes are very high. The pattern we have seen for MANY years is the cost of gas runs about 80 cents above the gas prices in SC. Why are the gas prices in MA, in some places below (by a few cents), the price of gas in Myrtle Beach? The first thought that comes to mind is we are being gouged at the gas pumps in Myrtle Beach. We know MA has certainly NOT lowered their taxes. Why aren't the gas prices in our state .60 to $.80 cheaper than MA?? Thank you in advance for taking my question seriously. Deborah Johnstone
