I am writing on behalf of the millions of women who suffer from fibroids everyday.  Last year alone I lost over 600 hours of unpaid work because I could not work due to severe pains stemming from fibroids. Our state needs more medical doctors who are trained to treat this medical issue. We need more support from businesses that will provide assistance including financial assistance to women workers who suffer and are afraid to lose their jobs. Please on behalf of all the women suffering in silence, declare July as Fibroid Awareness month so changes can be made to help the citizens of South Carolina. Thank you Governor Haley!
