My wife (Jane Staffieri) is mentally ill, this happened after we retired here 2 years ago. She stopped working in Sept. 2014, and I am on Disability. Our medical plan does not cover a lot for mental illness. She was committed last year into the "Lighthouse Mental Facility" in Conway. After just one week they released her with sedatives, and she is getting worse by the day. I can not send her back as we can not afford the cost. She is now trying to get me arrested on false charges, but thank God the Police do not believe her at this time. They (Horry County Police) know of her history and unstable condition. She does have an appointment with a Neurologist in a few weeks. I am at the end of my patience and considering a divorce. Can you suggest where I can get the help for her, where there is little or no cost for treatment. Again, being on a fixed income and not being able to make it month to month is very frustrating. It saddens my heart that this is the country that brags about taking care of their elderly, but expects us to pay for it...
