I just wanted to thank you for your strong and effective leadership through the past week. You have demonstrated caring, thoughtful, and bold leadership to the citizens of SC that you are on top of the flooding situation and recovery efforts. Even though we may disagree on some policy matters, I back you 100% on how you've handled yourself in this situation, as well as with the tragedy in Charleston with the Charleston 9. Too often, politicians politicize these situations--but you've been above all that in your handling of these matters. I know the recovery from this is going to be long and difficult--major infrastructure problems to fix with roads, bridges and dams. But you'll get us through it, I am sure.
