I am appalled by recent decisions of governmental entities.  Like most Republicans, I disagree with the recent SCOTUS decisions that further limit states' rights. That same factor was the core issue that led to the Civil War. Countless confederate soldiers died fighting for state rights and the confederate flag is a reminder of their sacrifice made for their belief! As a lifelong resident of Indiana, I am not a racist, but a strong believer in home rule and states' rights. To disgrace those soldiers and their beliefs with an asinine knee-jerk reaction to remove THEIR flag is wrong and appalling. Last night after golf league, a large group of us have decided to discontinue our semi-annual golf junkets to South Carolina as sign of respect to fallen soldiers whose memories are now desecrated.
