In light of the domestic abuse even including the fact that South Caolina has has one of the top death rates in the US associated with domestic violence, I firmly believe that we need to scrutinize the comments that our top leaders vocalize. Our leaders should be role models for the people of our state and therefore should be expected to act as one. Tom Corbin has recently made derogatory comments towards a female in a professional arena which is UNACCEPTABLE. Mr. Corbin should be made to relinquish his position because it is apparent that he cannot represent women in a fair and equitable manner. Please read the article published in the Daily Kos on 2/2/15, "South Carolina Republican: Women are a lesser cut of meat."
