Dear Governor,
On December 22nd I received a letter from my employer with a form form the S.C.D.O.R. on a wage levy for $130 on a motor carrier tax, to be withhold form my pay. I contacted the D O R and found out that they have people going through records fishing for taxes not paid or guessing not paid. I have never owned a motor carrier/18 wheel truck and they deducted the $130 dollars from my pay! After re contacting the D.O.R. again they said it would be 2 to 6 weeks before i get my money back that should never been taken in the first place! it is sad that the state has to resort to these tactic's for money when I knew nothing about this to try to get it corrected before the money was taken!
