Leverette Sr., P.E. 6107 Moss Springs Road Columbia SC 29209 siteengr@msn.com 803-776-7466 803-422-9807 HEAL SC's notice to Social Security of MY death 70.193.19.14 Recently, my wife was notifyed by the SS Admin. and several insurance companies of my recent death. When I contacted SS, I was told that this was as a result of some sort of notice from the state. More recently, I've been having problems accessing my bank accounts and have received notice from USAA about the cancelation of my automobile insurance. The bottom line is that I'm alive and well. I've already spent 30 or 35 hours meeting with SS, banks, talking with insurance companies and the like, and every time I think I'm making some progress, I get another notice. In my last conversation with one of SS's people, they told me to be glad I got back to the US before my pass port was flagged by the department of state. Who gives this type of notice, and how do they fix it? I'll be happy to meet with them and present my identification or whatever needs to be done, but, right now, I feel like I'm playing the administrative equivalent of whack-a-mole with no end in sight as a result of somebody's clarecial error. I would certainly appreciate a prompt and satisfactory resolution. Sincerely, Dennis
