I'm a retired Deputy. I have spina Bifida and worked with it for 19yrs. I retired 3yrs ago due to problems we thought coming from there. Nov 2014 I ended up in ICU due to having seizures. Prior to this we filled for disability but was turned down. We contacted Congressman Rices Office which helped a lot. Disability Office mails a hippi form for my records, this is after been turned down twice. We had Congressman Rices (Pam) fax all the records over two disability. After waiting for months, we had a hearing a few days ago. At the hearing we learn that disability only pulled records from birth till Dec 2014. Since Nov 2015 to current I have spent 5 different times in ICU and if there office pulled those records and from my doctors they would have seen that my doctors are saying I can't work or drive due to these problems. I'm not sure what is going on in the disability office but now I have to hire a lawyer pue judge, only for disability to get my records and wait another three or more months for another hearing which is really setting us back. We thought it would have went through and this would have helped getting things for Christmas which now we have to tell our little boy we have to wait. Im not sure what the problems are in this office but sounds as if someone is not doing there job or lazy at it. Thanks for listen.
