Judging Criteria

Class Level

Each teacher will select the top three essays in his/her classroom to determine the class winners.

School Level

A panel with a minimum of three judges will select the school winner.  One person from each of the following categories must be represented:  parent, teacher and business/civic leader.

District Level

All school winner essays should be submitted to the district office to determine the district winner.  At the discretion of your coordinator, a panel similar to the school panel will select the district winner.
