We have no idea of hotel reservations, wasting more and more money. Our big mistake was evacuating. never again. We will stay put. People are walking in downtown Savannah - those who stayed. All the people in my community, Colleton River, are safe and can look after their homes. We evacuate per your instructions. And even now, not only cannot we return, even though all roads our open for our return, and our community has power, but you cannot tell us when. Like all government, its for the convince of government. It may be easier to clean up without people returning home, but that could be an excuse for weeks, and government will push it as long as possible. Now is the time for me to see if my home was breached or not, secure by papers (will the SC DOR excuse a late return, or lost information because of damage I could not attend to - of course not. So in the future, you can be sure that warnings to evacuate will be ignored by a lot of mad people. You are blowing it. Al Thiess
