I own a restaurant in Bishopville, SC. On several occasions a member of my staff has called 911 in need of assistance from the Police Department. The Police Department never sent an officer to my business. I am extremely disturbed by this. In the most recent incident, this morning, a fire arm was involved and someone could have been seriously injured. I do not know what is going on in Bishopville but I have tried on numerous occasions to reach the Police Chief and Mayor to voice my concern on this matter. Police officers take an oath to protect and serve. My employees did not feel protected this morning. Could you please contact me and advise me on how to proceed in handling this situation. My staff and I need to know that we will have assistance should we need it.
