When Trump began his campaign he insulted Sen. John McCain and his service and those of us who served during the Vietnam War. Republicans did not criticize Trump for his comments and his insults were ignored. So, why do S. C. Republicans support a Vietnam era draft dodger? Do they want this draft dodger who insults those who served, to be in charge of the military? Had Trump insulted WWII or Korean War veterans, would party officials and supporters been so silent? Criticism of Muslims is met with rebuke, criticism of Vietnam veterans is met with silence. Silence speaks volumes.
