Govenor of the State of South Carolina

Hello, We at Project Unity USA, along with The Columbia Urban League are hosting, RALLY AT THE STATE HOUSE.  This is a rally for PEACE, UNITY AND PRAYER in all communities of South Carolina.  We are asking you to join us for this state wide call to peace and unity.  I am asking you as the Governor of our Great state, to stand with us on the stage in support of this rally, and to encourage all South Carolinians attend this much needed rally.

This event will be held at the State House on Saturday January 3, 2015 1:00 pm.  There will be a brief balloon prayer release for Unity and for the victims of violent crimes, their families and friends.  We will also have speakers, who will promote our theme of Peace and Unity.  

Project Unity USA realize, that there is a lot of unrest across the state about issues such as race relations, Police shootings of black young men, economics issues, etc.  We don't want to wait until all hell breaks loose before we call for peace and unity.

At 1:00pm on Saturday January 3, 2015 at the State House we are calling on large showing of 5 important groups statewide: 1. The community, 2. Clergy (of all denominations), 3. Law Enforcement,      4. Business, 5. Politicians.
 
The rally will cross racial lines, economic lines, denominational lines and political lines.  We are asking everyone across the state of South Carolina to put aside whatever issues they have for that day and join us.

I personally would be more than honored to have you stand side by side with other dignitaries on the steps for the state house in support of the Unity Rally.  Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
