I would like to propose a new initiative to help unburden the State Park staff by creating an "Adopt a Campsite" program wherein volunteers can adopt a site and perform the maintenance that rangers don't have time to do. (clearing brush, dead limbs, dangerous half fallen trees, general beautification etc...). I am sure there are more liabilities and training than I realize in such a program but I still think it is a doable idea. To make it more interesting, the state could give camping vouchers or other prizes. What do you think? Thank you for your time,
